What is a freight exchange and how does Laydn work?
A freight exchange (or load board) is an online marketplace where shippers post loads that need moving and hauliers find loads to carry. Laydn is a UK freight exchange where you post a load (route, vehicle, weight and details) and carriers across Britain express interest. You're notified, you pick the carrier you want, and you award them the job. Hauliers browse the live board, filter for return loads that fit, or get alerted automatically. There's no commission and no middleman.
How much does Laydn cost?
Laydn is free during launch while we grow the board. After that it's one simple flat fee: £44.99 a month for everyone, whether you post loads, carry them, or do both. That includes unlimited users across your business, with no commission, no per-load fees, no per-seat charges and no contracts.
Does Laydn charge commission on loads?
No. Laydn never takes a commission or a cut of what you move. Unlike many load boards that charge a percentage per load, the price posted is the price paid. You pay one flat monthly membership and keep every penny of the rate you agree.

Can my whole team use one Laydn account?
